making windows appear in the tool bar when unminimized

Is there a way to make windows appear in the toolbar even when they are not minimized?

I'm sure you mean the "Dock" but maybe if you say why this could be useful to you it might be easier to answer ....

As you know, mostly it's icons that live on the Dock so I'm curious to know the benefits of what you're asking about ....

Just say if you need to cycle between windows of the same application or windows of apps that are hidden behind the active window, then there are keyboard combos to help you ... that's why I asked.

yeah i mean the dock. i just wana be able to look at my dock and see all the windows that are open. i find that easier than expose
