Notebook keyboard interoperability

Hi,
I am modding an ibook and was wondering if mac notebooks use the same connections for all their keyboards? If I were to buy a keyboard for a powerbook or a G4 as opposed to my G3 what problems might I encounter? Thanks.

They aren't swappable. Different connectors, different sizes, and held into the frames differently.
