Camera not recognized

I recently upgraded my MAC OS with snow leopard. Since then, I am unable to download pictures from me canon rebel XT onto my laptop. Any ideas, suggestions?

There are some updates for the Canon applications on their site. The dates are after Snow Leopard came out so I'm guessing it adds functionality on 10.6. Here's the link:
