Once a charging battery reaches 100%... does the battery continue to be charged or does it stop so it's okay to keep the charger in even though it has reached 100%. I heard that once the battery reaches maximum charge, it stops getting charged so the charger can stay plugged in. Is this true?

All modern battery chargers stop charging once a battery is "full."
Just watching the charging indicator (or even reading the manual) will confirm this.

Someone told me you should take the battery out when you're running off a power lead, otherwise it's bad for the battery and it will run down really quickly. I was sure that when the battery is charged and the laptop plugged into a power socket it just doesn't run. Anyone know?
