Boot Camp not recognizing USB for Mp3 Player

Blackbook, 2.4 GHz, 4GB memory, 250 GB hard drive
I have a Creative Zen Vision: M, and I installed the software for the player, but the USB is not recognizing it. My player lights up, but does not appear to be charging. It says USB Device not recognized. Does anyone have any toubleshoots? As I'm going to college later this week, and if I can't charge my player im gonna go nuts.

(Boot Camp is running XP, and I had no problem on my desktop PC with this player)

After installing Windows, did you pop your System Disc 1 into the drive to install the Boot Camp drivers?
