Currently I have an external hard drive for Time Machine at home, and it's working very well.

I'm gonna be taking my MacBook to work on a daily basis now, and I don't want to carry my backup hdd all the time with me so, I was wondering if it's possible to have two separate Time Machine hard drives. Will this make TM freak out?

I know than having two TM backups my be overkill, but I can't carry my current hdd all the time. I want on at home and one at the office.

I don't think so. Just back it up separately to both drives and it should work. Sure this will take 2x the time to do so. I don't think you can back up once and have 2 output destinations. I think ti only allows the one.
