Is there a good piece of freeware out there that can be used for making ISO images of CD's? I would like to make some ISO images of my CD collection and stick it on my external Firewire HDD to have a perfect copy of these in the even that one gets lost, damaged, etc?

Thanks,
Ray

Disk Utility in your utilities folder does the job.

Pop in the disk, open disc utility and create an image from that source...creates and img file (Same as an iso)

Hey Thanks for the info, I was wondering if the IMG file was = to the ISO.

Thanks,
