Dissapearing Fonts

Howdy =)

I was using a font for something I was designing in Illustrator, but the next day when I opened it the font has now gone from my system(?!) though I haven't deleted anything?! Any ideas why/how this has happened?

What font was it and where did you get it from?
What version of Illustrator are you using?
If it is a specialty font you downloaded, it is possible that it wasn't installed correctly.
If it is a system font, then you will want to check the Font Book for it (its in your Applications folder). If it isn't there, then you may need to reinstall the font using your discs.
You may also want to trash your Illustrator .plst file and see if that gets things back in place.
