I installed Snow Leopard with no problems - except when using the Apple mail application before I installed Snow Leopard I could hit "Command & the K key"
to empty the mail in trash. That no longer works since I installed Snow Leopard. One other change - when the e-mail application is CLOSED and I open it sometimes automatically checks for new mail and sometimes it does not.
Before SL was installed it always automatically checked for new mail. How do I get these two "functions" back like they were?
MacBookPro (new spring '08) core duo 2, 2 G Ram, 200 G HD. Everything else works fine as far as I know now!
Thanks.

The option to check for mail automatically can be set to check manually or from every minute to every hour and times in between.

Mail -> Preferences -> General, "Check for new messages:" Use the drop down arrow to set the interval.

Regards.
