"phone" icon GONE after ios4 update?!

I have an iphone 3g and just completed the ios4 update and now the phone icon is GONE. I can't make calls, I can't receive calls, it's just not there. My husband didn't have this problem with his phone. Help!

I'd call AT&T or Apple.
