Wrong iMovie dates after import

Hi,
I have a DV camera with firewire and since my new Macbook doesn't have firewire I use an older iMac with iMovie05 to import from the camera. Then I import the iMovie05 project to the Macbook which have iMovie09. The problem is that after the transfer all the dates on the clips are changed from the date taken to the current date (i.e. the date of the import).

I haven't been able to get around this. Anyone knows how to solve it?
Thanks
/ola
