Synching Question

When I synch my iPhone to my iTunes it keeps telling me "Mobile Backup has encountered a problem" and "Mobile Device service has encountered a problem. It also happens after I've transferred several songs and iTunes shuts down. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is syncing to a Windows machine?

If so, try renaming your existing backup file - located at:

C: \Documents and Settings\user name here\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
