Broken fan blade

I got a cooling pad for my macbook and one of the blades on the fan of the cooling pad broke. i was wondering if it was better to leave it or to also break off the opposite blade to this so that the fan may regain some balance

Same thing happened to me, I broke off the opposite blade to regain balance, works alot better but obviously doesn't create as much air flow, other than that works fine.
