Macbook to TV + Amplifier?

Hi guys,

there has been a number of threads describing to hook up a mac to a tv using a Mini-DVI to Video Adapter. but what if i wanted to have the sound come out of my sounds system (ie, hooked up to amplifier so sounds comes out of speakers)

u connect it to the headphone jack but u need either a 3.5mm - 2 rca adaptor/lead to connect to your amplifer or if your amp has an optical input u need a 3.5mm-toslink adaptor/lead to connect that way.
select the appropriate input and your on your way.
