Dear all,

after a recent unfortunate adventure of having my laptop and my back up disks stolen, I am trying to collect everything I can from usb sticks and memory cards. However, Data Rescue III that I am using fails to recover anything other than what is currently present on the disks. Same goes for CardRescue that I also tried. So what happens next? Was this the least I could do? I remember, when using it on my external drive, recovering data more than a year old.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance

I suspect you have 2 options:

1) Contact a professional recovery specialist. They will charge you big bucks (like $500 - $800 if not more). The value of your data is subjective and is completely up to you.

2) Face thge fact that the data is gone and move on with your life.
