Hi,

I just recently bought a 10 GB Toshiba HD to upgrade my Powerbook from the original 2 GB. I have the drive installed, but since I'm pretty knew to Mac's, I'm not sure how to intall the OS. I tried booting to the CD by holding down the C key, as others have stated, but nothing happened- the box w/ the blinking question mark just kept blinking :). Do I have to use a utility to format the drive first, or should I just be able to boot directly to the CD?
Thanks!

You should be able to boot from the install media. Is the media you are using is bootable?
