Delete the little calender in Dock

I have done something really stupid,

I was fiddling around in the dock the other day and managed to delete the little calender chart thingy, just the bit that says the date etc. How can I get it back pleeeease.

I feel really stupid about this but am still trying to get the hang of using a mac.

Go to the Macintosh HD icon on your desktop, open the Applications folder, find the iCal program and drag it back to your Dock.

You have to really work hard to mess up a Mac. Little things like this are child's play to put back in place.
