I have a 2010 macbook Pro Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro6,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Processor Speed: 2,66 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 4 GB.
Thinking of upgrading to Lion, but concerned about performance, compatibility etc. Also compatibility with my software i.e. logic, reason and office for mac 2008 student addition.
Any advice?

You should also check with the developer of the app to see if it's compatible or if there's an updated version.

The hardware should be fine.
