Menu bar in pages

I recently downloaded pages for iPad. I cannot seem to get the menu bar with file edit etc. Could someone tell me what to do to get the menu bar. Thank you!

No menu bar in pages

I recently downloaded the wordprocessing program pages, and I cannot get a menu bar for such things as file, edit, etc. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you!

You don't get that king of toolbar on the iPad version. What function are you looking for?

Also, I suspect most of your questions will be answered if you follow through the 'getting started with pages' document that comes per-loaded
