I just tried (and bought) Printopia from Ecamm. For a little less than $10 it seems to work great. Immediately found my Brother wireless laser printer and I can now print to it using AirPrint! 
I have Printopia running on my Mac mini home theater since the Mac has to be on for it to work (but you don't have to be logged in).
