Hello. I just purchased 2 Centon 2GB RAM sticks for my early 2008 15-inch 2.4 GHz Macbook Pro. It is the DDR2-667 SO-DIMM, 200-pin. I have Windows 7 on my MBP via Bootcamp. My MBP had 2 1GB Samsung RAM. When I replaced them with the new RAM my MBP worked fine at first. After running a few games I got a BSOD. After attempting to reseat the new RAM my computer isn't even recognizing the new RAM.(I get those beeps when I start the MBP up) I put back the original RAM and my MBP works fine. Does anyone know what I should do?

If you're getting the beeping...then the computer is not "happy" with the ram you installed (especially after reseating the ram).

Return the ram if you can...and buy the correct ram from one of these guys:

- Crucial
- OWC

- Nick

Yes, return the defective memory and buy new modules from a reputable dealer. Either Other World Computing or Crucial.

Edit: I gotta type faster. Nick beat me to it! ;)
