New MacBook question

I'm new to this forum and also a new mac owner( soon to be since my mac hasn't shipped yet), but I have a fairly simple question. I configured my MacBook to 4 gig ram and 320 HD. Was this worth he extra cash? Would I have noticed a difference if I had just gotten the standard configurations of 2 gig? Jus curious. Thanks to all who respond.

That depends on what you will be doing with your machine.
