Wireless Mighty Mouse Issue

My MM is at the most, a month old. Just a few minutes ago, the scroll ball wouldn't work when i tried to scroll UP. Left, right, and down all worked just fine. Just as i signed on to mac forums it started working again, but now when i scroll up it feels a bit "chunky" for lack of a better word. Anyone have a similar problem?
