I'm on my MacBook and I want to install windows XP (I have an original copy of the CD). On my Macbook I have already installed Mac OS and Ubuntu. I was going to follow the boot camp assistant guide to install windows XP. The problem appears when I open the Boot Camp assistant, I click on continue and a message appears saying that:
The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.
The startup disk must be formatted as single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistand for installing Windows.
What can I do? I don't understand the problem because my Mac OS partition is already Extended(Journaled).
So, is there any other way to install windows without using boot camp assistant (i mean make a new partition and then put the windows cd and so on) ?
