My hard drive is showing HD and disk0s1.
Disk0s1 is not mountable and cant be changed in any way.
I've tried partitioning, it won't let me because one of them "cant be unmounted".
I'm on an iMac running 10.5.6
ALL THIS HAPPENED AFTER I TRIED TO USE BOOTCAMP AND FAILED.
Also, I do not have an install disc for osx. Nor do I have any money to buy one.
PLEASE tell me there is something I can do to get my hard drive back to a single drive.

Before you give up, did you try running the Boot Camp Assistant from Leopard? If you can, select create partition, and then select restore. It should remove the BC partition and restore your disk back to one partition. Otherwise you'll need to buy an install disk to boot with.

And if that works, why not update your OS to 10.5.8 ?
It's free. Just use Software Update in System Preferences.
