I'm just converting over to the Mac and overall VERY pleased. The only thing is when using Word for Mac I don't have any options to control the Print Output it just prints. ON the PC I could print as draft, fast draft, etc. Is there a way to control this in Word for Mac?

Thanks

G'day and welcome to the forums.

First try page setup, and depending on your printer, advanced or options.

Print options are according to the driver. My HP 1012 has all sorts of options in Windows and Linux, however, since the OS X driver is limited, I have only a few. Go to the HP web site and see if they have an OS X version of "Toolbox" for your printer. If not, you'll have to live with what you have.

Regards.

Print options come from the driver not Word, however, you may be missing them as they are in a different location that you are used to in Windows.

After selecting File > Print, click on the small box with an arrow in it to the right of the "Printer:" selection box. When the arrow is pointing up, your options will be maximized.

Click on "Copies and Pages". A drop down box will open. Select "Paper Type/Quality". This contains the options you are looking for.

If you do not have the above on your Mac, then you need to find a different printer driver, which can be a frustrating activity.
