Quick question,

Got a Powerbook G4, 1.67.

I thought I had a bad superdrive. It would fire up, accept CD, eject CD's however never detect the CD is OSX.

Purchased a new superdrive from Ifixit, installed, and have exactly the same symptoms.

Anything else this could be?

Thanks in advance.

What if you put in the OSX CD/DVD and hold down C. Will it boot from it or does that spit out also? This is right at Power Up.
