macbook pro backups question

2016 Macbook Pro 512g.15" 16g.ram Ipad2Air 64gb wifi+4g Iphone 6s 64gig
Okay, as far as backups go, I have time machine, 1 tb external hard drive, Icloud, and carbonite. Is this an overkill? I was think of letting Carbonite expire and use the others. What do you think?

More backups than you need is better than no backups. It's up to you whether or not to let Carbonite expire. You do have plenty of redundancy.
