Clearing harddrive and starting over.

Original Macbook. OS X 10.4.11.
I have one of the older Macbooks with OS X 10.4.11. I was wondering if I could just completely clear the harddrive, buy the box set with the OS X Snow Lepord and just start completely over. Thanks ahead for any help. :)

Yes that would be fine. Boot from the Snow Leopard disc, go into Utilities, erase your hard drive and format, then back to Installer and let it do its thing.
