some keys not working on keyboard

hey ya i have the small usb keyboard for the imac and the numbers one to nine are not working as well as the backspace key
i guess number lock might be on but i cant manage to turn it off (if it is actually on)
there is no numlock key on the keyboard or a clear key, fn and f6 is not doing anything
mouse keys, sticky keys and slow keys are turned off
if i go to keyboard viewer and click on the numbers they work

any ideas?

Is this the wireless keyboard for the iMac? If it is, make sure your batteries are up to par. Also, have you recently or in the past spilled anything on the keyboard?
