Please could someone help I did a clean install of Snow Leopard and I'm trying to install the "Applications Install DVD" but I just get the "(com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error-1.)" as seen in the pic below?

There are 2 cases I know of that can cause this problem,
#1 The DVD has a corrupt data segment on it either from a scratch or a burn defect. In either case you may need to get it replaced.
#2 Your DVD drive is failing, do you have another Mac where you can try and open the installer to see if it's the DVD drive?
