Epson RX640 Printer & Airport Express Problems

I’m connected to an RX640 printer via Airport Express. When I try to print, nothing happens. When I unplug the printer’s USB cable from the AE and plug it back in again, the printer starts printing. Turning the printer off and on, it stops printing again. I’ve tried all the recommended cures set out in HT2372, without success.

Any ideas?
