Hello,
I have been unable to open "sparsebundle" on my iMac, O/S snow leopard. Being new to time machine, woudl you please give me the basics?

Is it possible to use the carbon copy backup program to just back up my user files on a daily basis, on the same external hard drive, a LaCie unit ?

Thanks, Robert K.

Why are you trying to open the sprasebundle file? Is the data you need not loading in the Time Machine app?

Sparsebundle

Thanks for responding. I thought that I could recover some lost some documents with Time Machine. Under "user" all I get is sparsebundle.
I thought all user files would be there since time machine does not show anywhere else where my files could be.
I have an iMac, 14 months old which uses the use snow leopard OS.
Thanks for trying to help me.
Robert K.
