Conversion of video files to iPod version?

Hello everyone,

I wanted to transfer a few videos to my iPod but I don't know know how to convert them to the .mp4 version. Most of them are of the .avi version. Could anyone please tell me the procedure to do that?

I'd be highly grateful to you for that.

You can use Handbrake to do that. When you open it, it will ask for an input file. Select the video you want to convert, change the preset to "iPhone & iPod Touch" or just "iPod" depending on what you have (you can change the presets by pushing the "Toggle Presets" button at the top right hand corner of the main window), choose a destination for the new file and name it what you would like and push start.

I downloaded handbrake but I cannot find the preset for iphone & ipod touch or just ipod.

where is it??
