I got the Incoming Mail Server and Output Mail Server from my pc.
I entered them into my iMac and am able to get emails but cannot send emails.
My SMTP port is set to 587 and the POP server is set to 110.
I'd appreciate any help.

Moved to correct forum.

Verify your POP and SMPT addresses with your ISP and then go back and re-do setting your account in the Mail application. It would be best to remove the account that does not work first before setting up a new one.

This happened to me today at work, on Windows. If it happens again, this is what I'll do: Open the message in the Outbox that's not being sent (the first one in if there is more than one). Copy the message to the clipboard, then delete it. Hit Send All. Open a new message, paste from the clipboard. Send it.
