Hi,

I just bought an old 1ghz emac with the intention to upgrade the ram to 1g. I just bought 2x512mb PC133 168 Pin DDR SDRAM and tried to install them but the computer beeps at me telling they are incompatible. I looked on the apple site and it says compatible ram is:

"The RAM expansion modules used in the eMac and eMac (ATI Graphics) computers are 168-pin SDRAM DIMMs (dual inline memory modules) with these characteristics: 3.3 V, unbuffered, 8-byte, non-parity, PC-133 compliant."

Is there anything that im doing wrong? or have i just been sold dud ram.

Thanks
