Hi there all!. I went into my local O2 shop today, and enquired about the iPod Touch (I actually expected to be bluffed by these incompetents!). The guy told me that to browse the net EVEN USING MY OWN WIFI CONNECTION AT HOME - I have to pay a charge for this, using a credit/debit card...

Now maybe *I* am the idiot, but I have not heard of this mystery extra charge, from ANYWHERE online/anyone else, and believe me you, I do a LOT of technology blog surfing in a week, on Apple products. Please, someone tell me this is what I think it is; PURE GUFF.

Thanks peepz.

That's just ridiculous. Apple wouldn't have sold a single Touch with such a policy. He must want you to buy an iPhone.

BTW, does O2 typically sell other Apple products? I thought, like AT&T, they would only sell the iPhone.
