I have a wireless HP printer and I'm trying to print to it from an apple computer.
I can test print from the mac via the wireless all night long with no problems. However, if you try to print any document, web page, image, anything at all, the spooler comes up and notes that the printer is unavailable. However, if you cancel the job (from the spooler) and run a test print (again from the spooler), voila, print!
There are tons of forums talking about this issue. The couple I have visited said uninstall re-install the printer drivers. Did this, no dice. I thought I'd start a discussion here to see what some of my Mac friends might be thinking about.
