Broken 20GB Click Wheel- 5th gen

I've opened it and fiddled with it for the past 8 months, keeping it alive after the hard drive flipped out years ago, but now I believe its gone for good. Anyone got any good advice of something cool to do with it?

Or perhaps a suggestion of another way to resurrect it?

Go to iFixit: The free repair manual. They have some great fixes you can try for your iPod. I repaired an older one than you have by following their instructions. I replaced a dead hard drive that was just about impossible to find at a decent price, with a SD card.
