macbook 2.0 ghz core duo 2. 2gb ram ddr2, 60gb hard drive, superdrive. ipod video 30gb. Iphone
I've started learning xhtml at uni. We are not allow to use programs like dreamweaver etc . so we have to hard code it. can anyone suggest any good xhmtl editors for this. tried j edit but its not very good for it.

For hand-coding, I just use TextEdit. Works the best for me. :black:

TextMate is one of the best. However it is not free.

You could go old school Unix and use Vim (my editor of choice), although textmate and smultron are lovely.

He didn't say free.. otherwise yeah I wouldn't have said BBEdit or TextMate :)
