Reviving my black MacBook

MacBook Black 2.4GhZ 4 GB RAM
My black MacBook died on me last year but it's still my baby even though I have a MBP now. The hard drive died and I also need a new battery. Where can I purchase these things? Can I go goths apple store and have them do it for me?

You can replace both those items yourself as they are easy do it yourself projects. The ifixit web site will show you how, and you can purchase both the battery and hard drive from many on line suppliers. Amazon, Other World Computing, NewEgg, and others all have those items for much less than you would have to pay at your local Apple Store.
