Hi there,

I've just done the software update and it's listing a Securtiy Update (7.3MB), the Daylight Saving Time Update (9.2MB) and a Java for Mac 5 (81.2MB)

I'm fine with the security update but do I really need the other 2 especially the last one as it's such a big file?

Many thanks

The files may be big, but they replace the already existing big files on your Mac. The over all net gain is likely very little.

The Daylight Savings time updates the start and end dates so your Mac will change it's clock automatically (In the US they extended it so it starts earlier and ends later this year) and you use Java a lot more that you even know, especially if you surf the web.
