Acts like Boot Camp...

but Boot Camp is not installed. For some reason, when i start my MacBook, a HDD icon with my MacBook's name appears as if it were boot camp. there is no other option to choose from, just my hdd. any having the same problem or a solution?

I take it you had Boot Camp installed and later removed it? If that's the case, try resetting the PRAM. Start with the computer powered off. Turn it on and as soon as the screen turns gray, press and hold Command+Option+P+R until you hear the system chime three times.

Check you startup disk settings.

If it's been set to boot to an external HD or something first, it will dump you at the screen you describe if it can't boot from the other source.
