I imported a lot of photos to my iphoto recently, in which a lot were duplicates. I accidentally clicked the "import anyway" for all photos, so I have about 250 photos that are duplicates. I have gone through and deleted the pictures by hand, each of which are of significate size. However, after deleting them, I haven't seen a significant change in hard drive space. Is iPhoto like iTunes in that it keeps the file in the folder unless you specify to explicitly delete the file to the trash can?

Thanks,

James

iPhoto has its own trash. At the top bar -> iPhoto -> Empty Trash
