Cant record vocal in garage band... SAVE ME!!

this might a dumb question but i really dont have the time to solve it myself..
i dont know why garage band isnt taking in any sound while recording...
a. my internal mic is working...
b. my garage band is working but it isnt taking in any sound...
c. i tried reintalling it but it didnt solve the problem...

can someone save me...

There are so many variables involved with recording digital audio, that there's no way for us to know what the problem is with the information provided.

Have you used DAW software before? Have you successfully recorded into Garageband before? What audio interface are you using?

The trick to troubleshooting audio issues is to think logically about signal flow and isolate where you're having issues.
