I recently wiped my Macbook to partition for bootcamp, and while I was restoring my backup from time machine, i selected to replace my main account and the migration assistant ended up making it a sharing only account. I can't log into it and was wondering if there was a way to change back to a normal admin account. Thanks.

When you re-installed OSX and created an account did it have the same name as the account you had before (ie the one backed up in Time Machine)?
Yes I did, is this why?
