Accessing files on another user account

Hey there all,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with something ...
Is there some way to set up allowing access to certain folders in other users accounts such as my girlfriend being able to access my music or photo's and vice-versa?
Sorry if this is in the wrong place or has already been asked.

Hope someone can help, would be a lot easier than switching users all the time.
