Hi All,
This is my first time posting so please be gentle. Here's the situation:
I reinstalled Mac OSX 10.4.11 over my old OSX 10.4.11 (because it was getting all kinds of error reports - likely due to an old and useless partition) today, and had thought I'd backed up all my important files on my external HD, but of course I forgot the one containing all my school work. I'm wondering if there is any way that I can salvage those files/data even though I've already reinstalled the operating system?
I've done a bit of searching so far and though I realize this is probably hopeless I would really appreciate any ideas on retrieving data that's been overwritten.
Thanks all
