Unrecoverable Photo

in iPhoto, every time I open my pictures, I get a message that says I had two photos that failed on the last import, and "do you want to import them?" I have tried yes and no, and either way I get told the photos are in an unrecoverable photos folder. I see the folder, but there is nothing in it. I cannot seem to find the corrupt files to delete them and prevent the recurring import error. Any ideas? thanks. PS: I have only been a iMac user for about 3 days, so I am not doing too badly.... ha!

Try the following...
Hold down the "cmd"+"alt" keys and open iPhoto, when it opens you should be presented with a dialog box for repairing the iPhoto database. Check the top option to repair then click "Repair".

I got that dialog box, and made the repair, but I still have the two ghost import photos... Any other suggestions? It just bugs me to be asked about these two every time I open the iPhoto program...

Do the same cmd+alt combination and then the repair iPhoto Library File Permissions . . . .

That one did it. I got prompted for a password, and it repaired whatever the error was. I still dont know which file was corrupt, but the program opens without errors now. Thanks all.
