24" imac and printers

Hi, ust got my 24" imac today and for the life of me I can't figure out how to install my printer. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

have you installed the driver tha came with the printer yet? if you have then you should just be able to plug it in and print.

What printer is it?
Most printers are "installed" by simply plugging them in... no need for bloatware installers or extra software.

It's an Epson stylus r220. The computer sees it but when I go to print I get a message that there is no printer selected and then I can't select it. I knew that there would be a slight learning curve with this so I'm just being paitent, thanks again, Jimmy
